June: Fast Mount, First House!

It seems the West is way more populated than East, which is not a surprise listening to how toxic East Nation chat is. The peaceful housing zone at the back of Haranya, Rokhala, is gorgeous. Where Ahnimar was green & pink, Rokhala is blue & white. And there are stone piles everywhere.

Wandering around, I searched for a path up to the highest mountain top & found a space, right near facilities, up top. I had Kadoyama on the phone deliberating... I wanted a Villa (28x28) but it didn't look to me like it would fit & I only had 400 Gilda. So I spent 300 Gilda on a Manor (24x24). Jemanni was on & she came to keep me company & even logged alts on to help with the brick & lumber processing.

I went for the Stone Slate Manor & I'm pretty happy with how it looks.

I also finally earned enough Diligence coins to buy a fast mount. I'd assumed I would get a kitsu, but I liked the Emberpaw Panther. It was gorgeous, but even more gorgeous with the armor. Lemmer said he almost decided to buy the game after seeing the panther.

The ember paws end up being very pretty at night as well.

So what I've learned as far as priorities:

Always be working on an Archepass because they award Diligence & Gilda, amongst other nice things. You can only do 20 Archepass quests per week, & I'm actually rolling alts because I feel lost once I run out of Archepass quests.

Gamigo had 2 update disasters, one affecting many players & the other affecting all players. There were 2 benefits, though, to this. A lot of people seem to have not come back from the downtime, or their rent was already overdue & came up that day. I know mine was due. Anyway, the big old mansion next to my house disappeared. So I immediately demolished my house & grabbed that spot. If a mansion fit there, a Chalet (yes, I've decided I want a Chalet!) will fit.

Now I've got the corner lot, facing the mountainside!

I've been diligently doing the Gilda dailies from Marianople; soon I'll have enough Gilda to buy a Chalet. After that I will need even more Gilda because to upgrade my eventual Chalet I will need to buy more house plans with Gilda to break them down with Evenstone to do the upgrade along with a bunch of other mats, including building permits which I think I have to buy with Gilda or Diligence; I don't remember.

I also rolled a Dwarf. Sentire is my 2nd "loli." The 1st one I rolled looked good in character creation but once in game she looked really creepy.

This one, Sentire, looks pretty good. I still have to make another one, perhaps with darker skin or brown hair, so I can use the name Mochachocolatayaya. She got to level 28 & I decided to delete her. Just too creepy. Bleh.

I rolled a Firran but deleted her in the 30s because of a bugged quest. I then rolled a Warborn whose face I'm not happy with but she wears a mask anyway. She ended up joining a prominent East guild but I don't spend much time on that side.

She just made enough Diligence to buy amount. I don't know why, but Stormrose was the one I kept going back to. That toon is 52 now but 400 Diligence bought me a level 5 fast mount. Kind of disappointing. The panther came level 50.

Jemanni's polar bears had babies & she gave me one to raise. It was either going to be a mount or a battle pet... mine turned out to be a mount. I named him Knut. =)
